When was Anne Frank allowed to make noise?
Anne, along with the people in hiding were allowed to make noise
after all the people that were downstairs had left. That was in the
evening. Until then they had to be silent and do just about nothing
for a long time, the little habits of the people in the Secret
Annexe were magnified at this time making people 'snap' at someone
else for something like tapping their fingers of twiddling their
thumbs. m
