I, having a 91/30 myself, know alot about these rifles. The model of the 91/30 is, well the 91/30. There were many models of these kinds of guns out, including those such as the tula editions, and 90/28. These had the same action and reciever, just different barrel and stock layouts. Some may have also chambered differently. If your gun is made in 1942 then your gun would be one of the final modifications or models of its kind. I hoped that helped!

, This is a very unsafe practice. While there are adapters made which allow one to fire pistol .32 caliber ammunition singly through the Mosin-Nagant, there is no rifle cartridge which will interchange with the 7.62x54R. Please do not try it. Josh Smith Smith-Sights.com
I think you got your years a bit crossed. You're probably thinking of the Mosin-Nagant M1891 rifle.

Gun shops, gun shows, classified ads, online auction sites... it kinda depends on what you're looking for. The Mosin-Nagant rifles are inexpensive and well-made (you can get them from AIM Surplus or J&G Sales), but it may not be quite what you're looking for.
It is an American made Mosin Nagant Model 91, one of the last made and probably one of the ones dumped onto the civilian market in the 20's Values is between about $70 for mismatched to about $250 for pristine with matching numbers for the 7.62x54 chambering If it is one of the commercially rechambered to 30-06 guns it's value is only as a wall hanger as it is generally unsafe to shoot maybe $50 to $75
your Winchester model 75 was made in 1942.
It's certainly possible. There's no way of knowing for certain, as records of these things are spotty at best and are generally not made accessible to the public.
