Your Western Field model 175a was made by O.F. Mossberg and sons for Montgomery Wards(Western Field). The Mossberg model 385K is the same firearm as your western field model 175a.These were made by mossberg from 1960-1985.their value ranges in price from 75-110 dollars based on your bolt action shotgun having between 60%-90% of its original finish remaining, and a good bore.

This may be your rifle. It was made by Marlin: Model 81 or 781. Bolt action 22 short and long bullet. 22" barrel. My catalogue list it as a model 81TS made between 1998-2004.
Savage/Stevens, Marlin and Mossberg all made guns under the Western Auto Brand name. Colt even made a revolver under Western Auto, the model 880A-ECH. Since you specified hi power bolt action rifle, without more information I would guess the Savage model 340 or possibly the Savage 110. I am also fairly certain that there was a Mossberg center fire bolt action rifle made branded under Western Auto. Plus there are others. If you have the model number off of the barrel of your rifle it will help identify exactly which rifle you have.
