The Tec-9 was manufactured by the company Intratec. It is no longer in production. There were various models differing in size and caliber. Tec-9 stands for the models chambered in 9 millimeter. These were between 241-317 millimeters in length, depending on the model. The size and length differed, as they were offered with various barrels. Either a short barrel, medium length barrel or a long barrel, depending on what the customer wanted. Size would also be influenced by which magazine one would put in. For the Tec-9, magazines ranging from 10 rounds and up to as much as 72 rounds have been manufactured. Over all, it is definitely larger than an ordinary handgun, but significantly smaller than a sub machine gun.
