Made in 1969. Info from Ithaca Gun Co. serial number check chart.
Since Wilkes Barre Gun co was only in business from 1892 to 1895 (then sold to Ithica) I am guessing yours was mfg in 1895 as the s/n break was around 1300 when Ithica took over. JT
Not enough information to answer. We need ALL markings and a description- Ithaca has been making guns a LONG time.
Can't be identified with just the serial number. Provide a detailed description of all markings, caliber/gauge, barrel length, condition, finish, sights, stock, box, papers, accessories, etc..
No records.
Firearms weren't required to have serial numbers until the passage of the Gun Control Act of 1968.
We can't tell from a serial number alone.

I believe they did... I haven't found much on it yet but I have one, from my father who who had it in the service back in the forties (or earlier). I'll post anything I find but so far I've heard they can be worth anywhere from a couple hundred to several thousand, depending on model, serial number and, of course, condition.
