Colt's of this caliber have more collectible value than the other calibers. But, what kind of Colt is it? Colt made several varities. If it's a Colt Single Action they can be very valuable, but the major determining issue is condition AND configuration. You'll need to describe exactly how much of the original finish remains, on all the parts, any pitting or corrosion, chips or cracks and describe that as an approximate percentage, ie: approximately 50% of original finish remains and the grips have normal wear & tear, bumps & dings but no cracks or chips or missing pieces. If you can email me pics of it with close ups of both sides I can provide a very good estimate of value. My email is: martinphoto1@Verizon.net Hope this is helpful.....Marty
