6 too 700
The Remington 700 is a model number. It is chambered in different calibers. The 30-6 being one of them.
300-500 dollars depending on overall condition and the caliber that the rifle is chambered in. I'll just add to be worth 500 it would have to be in screaming mint condition you have to remember the model was created to be an inexpensive competitor against the other boys rifles of the period.
6 mm
January 6 1902-43,897 were made
500 to 800 depending on condition
Barrel codes, check the Remington Society of America: http://remingtonsociety.com/rsa/questions/barrelcodes
There is no Remington Model 6 pistol, there has been however cases however of Remington Model 6 rifles converted to pistols by gun or "home" smiths. NOT Remington. As such the value is whatever someone will pay, but generally not much.
Remington didn't make a model G, it is a 6, this is a duplicate question....
Carbine version - 6 1/2 lbs Rifle version - 7 1/2 lbs
The Remington Model 6 was produced from 1905 until around 1930 in .22 and .32 rimfire calibers. Some variations had smooth bore barrels that fired shot loads in the previously mentioned calibers.
Had me for a minute the model 6 is an old rolling block the model "Six" is a modern variation of the 7600 and no they stopped making it in 1987.
