Beeman makes several good air rifles & guns. I know of 3 different "Sportsman SS" series that shoot .177 pellets And the RS1 Sportsman that comes with 2 barrels .177 & 22. But I know of no Beeman Air Gun called Sportsman. Just the Sportsman Rifle. If you are talking about the RS1, then yes I would have to say it is a good rifle for the price.
For years Beeman was considered to be an excellent brand of air rifles. But due to economics their quality has fallen off. You will find more plastic creeping into the assembly, like triggers and trigger guards. Many users have opted to replace the trigger assembly with aftermarket units. Let me give you an example of what they have been doing. The highly prized Beeman P3 pistol sells for $220 but the exact copy Beeman P17 sells for $46. There are several other copies like the "Marksman 2004", another copy of the model P3. All of these are owned by Beeman. Beeman owns Marksman and in my opinion Marksman, once a very good air gun, is now a throwaway not made to last. I don't understand Beemans marketing strategy, Why make knockoff your own gun? So "Yes" Beeman's are Okay just not s good as they once were. My preferenc is the Gamo or Benjamin line of air guns & rifles. If you want to see a wide selection of air guns / rifles then see the link below and read the Owners reviews.
This is an interesting question. I used to go up on Beemans web page and check out the new air rifles. About 2 years ago I noticed that the Beeman web page is down (You can't access it.) I know they moved the company a few years ago to Santa Fe Springs. After that it has become hard to find them on the net. However Beeman owns the "Marksman" brand of cheap/low powered air guns, and if you go up on the Marksman web page you will find the Beeman information you are looking for. Beeman used to be known for excellent quality air rifles ( they use Marksman as a low quality inexpensive air gun to balance out sales of expensive Beeman rifles.) however in my opinion and several others, The quality is falling off with more of their products being made in China. I find it unusual that they no longer have a web page up, Considering they were a major player in the air gun industry.
If you are looking for a good, quality, accurate, air rifle, look at the Beeman R7. It will last you a life time. You will enjoy shooting it. I would call it a Target only gun. You will need more power for hunting.
Here are a few of the most popular air gun manufactures: Crosman, Daisy, Beeman, Benjamin, Sheridan and Gamo
First let me explain the relationship of air gun manufactures. Very often air gun companies make air guns for other companies using the new air gun company name. Several air gun companies manufacture air guns under different brand names. Today Beeman owns Marksman air guns. I believe your Marksman 0035 was made by Norica "Of Spain" for sale through Beeman. Your rifle "Marksman 0035", is rated at about 700 FPS. This same rifle is also known as a "Beeman GS700". I picked one up off craigslist a month ago. With 7.9 grain pellets mine shoots at 550 FPS This is good to know. Air gun companies rate their own air guns as far as FPS. Usually they are somewhat over rated. Super lightweight pellets fly very fast but are not as accurate as a heavy weighted pellet that flies straighter and is not as affected by crosswind.
I need to know a few things first: 1. Is this a Gun or a Rifle? 2. what is the condition of the weapon? Excellent, Very good, Good, Fair, Poor? 3. I know of "No" model 21320-2281. Are you looking at the serial number? I need the model number!
I would start with Beeman air gun co. They own the Marksman line of air guns (See the link below) or go online and look up "air gun repair" and locate someone near you to repair the rifle. Or see the link #2 below.
The Falcon 2 was made in Spain for Beeman between 1981-84. The only oil I use for any of my air guns or rifles are Crosmen Pellgun oil or RWA Pellet gun oil. Never use 3N1 or any other oil or it will start to ruin the seals, never use regular firearms cleaning solutions on an air gun or rifle they will also ruin the seals.
A Weihrauch HW97K can be purchased from any store that sells air rifles such as Sportsman Gun Center and Field Sports Equip. They can also be bought at gun show conventions.
This is an interesting question. I have researched the web. But Beeman doesn't provide any drawings or breakdown of their airguns that I can find. If you look on the web at Beemans home page www.beeman.com or (See the Link below )you will find the following statement.TRIGGER MECHANISMS in any airgun should only be serviced by an authorized service shop.It appears that Beeman doesn't want you to dissemble the air rifle. My suggestion is find a repair shop (Look on the web) to find someone near you to make the repairs.Unless you are extremely familiar with air guns it might be best to have a professional repair or modify your air gun.
Colt makes a 1911-A1 Pellet gun made by Umarex. I know of no BB gun unless you are asking about an Air Soft gun. The Pellet gun is very good. I can not answer about an Air soft gun.
