i have seen a range from 150 bucks to 649 on web sites As of April 2008, for the last six months I see really rough rifles bring over $350. A good 90+ percent rifle is around $500. A legacy is worth more. 22Mag is usually worth around 10-15% more. In spite of book values, a special edition "tribute" model is usually worth $100 more. I have recently bought new in box (NIB) legacy models in 22LR or 22WMR for $600-$700, though you have to be persistent to find. The 9422 trapper models seem to comand upwards of $700 if almost new or NIB, which is also inconsistent with book values. I saw a big surge around Christmas 2007, and prices and supply have come back to reality lately.
Made in 1982, your rifle is a Grade I, worth $700-$900, depending on condition.
