∙ 15y agoTHERE ARE OTHER CODE NUMBERS HIDDEN,RIGHT NOW AS WE SPEAK I AM RESTORING A STEVENS 94 SINGLE SHOT 12 GAUGE THAT I BOUGHT AT A PAWN SHOP AND IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION, I TOOK THE SCREW OUT OF THE FRONT WOOD FOREARM AND CAREFULLY PULLED IT OFF THE GUN AND FOUND A CLIP UNDER IT THAT HOLDS THE GUN TOGETHER THEN I OPENED THE BARREL AND IT CAME OFF THE GUN, UNDER THE BARREL ARE NUMBERS AND LETTERS,IT IS SOAKING IN OIL,AFTER I WIPE IT OFF I WILL LEARN MORE ABOUT IT, THIS IS MY FIRST TIME AT DOING THIS AND MY FIRST ANTIQUE GUN, IT IS WELL MADE AND REALLY NICE, I DID IT WITH A TABLE AND CHAIR SO NOTHING SLAMMED TO THE FLOOR - YET - JR COFFEE

I have a circa 1874 W.W. Greener double barrel shotgun. It was made in Birmingham England. It has double hammers with nice engraving. Greener shotguns are still produced today but in limited numbers.
