Gold plating by itself isn't worth much, so it really depends on the metal content of the coin. Commemorative coins like that don't have much value unless it's made of a precious metal.
do you have a selling price ??
Which .45 handgun are you referring to? The .45 Colt revolver (Peacemaker) goes back to about 1873. The traditional "45 Auto" was adopted by the US Military in 1911, but there were other, earlier .45 caliber automatics. And of course, .45 caliber black powder ball and cap pistols, ball and cap revolvers, etc are MUCH earlier than the Peacemaker. So... which handgun?
The Peacemaker grossed $62,967,368 worldwide.
price depends on condition. a 22 cal pistol will not bring in as much as a larger caliber. check prices at: gunbroker.com and gunboards.com
100-10000 USD depending on condition
The Peacemaker grossed $41,263,140 in the domestic market.
value of any firearms depends on overall condition. It is unlikely you will find any history on your pistol................
An 1873 Winchester Carbine, it was shorter and lighter than the rifle, and carried a dozen .44-.40-caliber, center-fired cartridges (the rifle carried 15) and a single-action Colt .45-caliber Peacemaker as well as the double-action Colt .41-caliber Thunderer (the Kid's preferred the latter). His favorite firearm was the 1873 Winchester Carbine.
