approx.1.5 to 2 miles,i've read information saying the effective range is 125 yard but i have multiple hits at 197 yards using hornady v-max.here is a type of formula if you take a a round and drop from approx, 5 feet it will take 1.9 mil sec, to hit the ground times it by the velocity of that round than divide it by 3 thats suppose to be your range of the round ? for example 2200 fps x 1.9 = 4180 / 3 =1393.3333 yards who know how accurate this is,but i hope it help's.
If you are asking how far a 22 LR bullet will travel, about 1.5 miles.
as far as it wants
In excess of one mile
1223 feet
No
Over a mile, yes
Accurately? About 100-150 yards. How far can the bullet travel? About 1.5 miles.
Unimpeded, a .22LR caliber bullet can travel up to 2000 yards. Its effective distance is, of course, much shorter than that.
200 yards straight, 2 miles at an angle.
Not quite 2 miles.
600 mph
Depends on the .22 cartridge, what weight bullet, and what it is fired in. Some .22s travel slower than the speed of sound (about 1100 fps) some high velocity 22 LR cartridges fired from a rifle reach muzzle velocity of 1750 fps with a 30 grain bullet. The .22 Magnum may reach 2200 fps with the 30 grain bullet.
