Winchester (and most other ammo makers) discontinued making 33 W.C.F. ammo right after WW II. Today, there are a few custom ammo makers that make small batches of it, but it is expensive. Most people that still shoot it today reload/handload their own cartridges. Bert H.
you should not use 32 Winchester special ammo in a 32-40 rifle! these are two complete different cartridges and you may injure yourself, and blow up a otherwise fine old marlin rifle.one of the major manufactures still load 32-40 ammo from time to time.check with Winchester,Remington or federal. There is also some small company,s that make hard to find ammo which the 32-40 is becoming,so look to the internet for your ammo.
Several different manufacturers make it (e.g. Remington, Hornady, Winchester), but there is no such thing as "inexpensive" factory loaded 22 Hornet ammo.
They never did. Winchester makes a paper shell and they all still make brass shells.
depends on the use. Hunting? paper or home protection? Federal Winchester or Remington make ammo for this. There are surplus ammo you can find at a lower price them commercial hunting or match ammo. Make sure the surplus ammo does not have corrosive primers.
Winchester Repeating Arms Company does not still make shotguns. The company was founded in 1866 by Oliver Winchester and was defunct on March 31, 2006.
You rifle can only fire 25-35 cartridges. Winchester Super X make a nice 117 gr 25-35 cartridge.
Yes
On occassion runs will be made.
Winchester never manufactured a "33-70" cartridge. Winchester did make a 33 W.C.F., and a 38-70 W.C.F. cartridge, both of which were chambered in the Model 1886 lever-action and the Model 1885 Single Shot rifles.
Finding any ammo at this time can be a bit of a challenge but Remington certainly still does make the .270 as does everyone else in addition to the larger reloading companies that also provide it.
I do not believe that Winchester ever made a 9mm shotgun, although 9mm "snakeshot" ammo, comprised of tiny pellets and looking lot a shotgun shell exists. Do you perhaps mean 9 guage?
