The Remington Model 1100 shotgun is still in production, hence it would be worth no more than list price - and probably less, if it has been used at all.
It's a solid $850 shotgun, I don't think you can find one for less.
this gun was made in and still is made in ithica New York say as Remington is made in illion New York
Remington made several versions from 1950 through 1959, and still do. It depends on condition, gauge, grade or version. I have recently bought a 51, a 53 and a 56. Prices run NORMALLY for AVERAGE standard shotguns 150-250 but more if they are of certain gauges and condition.
They made them in four calibers. 25 Remington, 30 Remington, 32 Remington & 35 Remington. The 25 & 32 are obsolete, the 30 was still available in the 80's & the 35 is still available at your larger sporting goods stores. There are dozens of custom reloaders that will still supply ammo for any of these calibers.
The Model 1100 has been made since 1963 and is still in Remington's catalog.
no, stopped in 1998
Remington firearms were first produced in 1816. Remington is the oldest company in the United States that still produces its original product. Remington is also the oldest manufacturer that has operated continuously in North America.
