Either the water bottle is stopped up.(the cap on the bottom of the bottle) Or the pump is out of it. I think you will find the pump is out of it since that seems to be a problem with most of them! how do you get to the pump?, the bottom of the spout of the filled container is giving out water.
More than likely you will not have heat being the water wont be circulating through the heater core , When the hot water passes through the heater coil the air passing through the heater coil makes heat blow out the vents when you have selected a heat setting on your controls.
Because cooking imply heating something up. Cold water wont heat your food
Low coolant level? Cooling system airbound? Bad thermostat? Water pump not circulating coolant? Heater control cable not working?
because you don't have enough water in system it is very hard to get enough water in the system you have to keep adding water

If it is a new dishwater, there is a gov't restriction on the heating element that stops it from heating the water and drying the dishes. If anyone knows how to override this, please advise.
Well water is on earth but if we wont save water ofcourse it wont last long So save water
