yes, bamboos produce much water. the rain will go to straight the soil the soil divides it when the soil divides it it will go straight to the roots of the plant the bamboo stores less than a gallon of water and water produces more leaves in the outer parts but it is not much for the next rain so bamboos doesn't produce much water but the more it grows the more water it collects
