PVC is chemically inert and will not react with concrete under normal conditions, making it suitable for use in such applications. However, care should be taken to ensure that the PVC pipes are properly protected during concrete pouring to prevent damage. It is also important to follow building codes and regulations for installation to ensure safety and longevity of the piping system.

It is a good technology that has been around for 25 years. It allows pipe repair without breaking concrete, but is a fairly expensive technology.
