Maybe. Salt water pools equipped with chlorine generators, when properly maintained, keep the chlorine at a fairly constant level. This greatly reduces, some say eliminates, the need for an algae preventer like Back Up. So conceivably there would be fewer chemicals in the water. Also there would be less chance of nasties in the water because the chlorine level would not be dipping low, allowing said nasties to grow.
ecosmarte is a non chemical and non salt water water purification for swimming pools
yes algae levels are lower due to the salt levels. Salt water pools are more carrosive to the pools plumbing. PVC may be a better way to plumb a pool as time will tell.
Yes definitely, it will probably stop mould and bacteria etc.
Salt is put into swimming pools so that the water from the pool can be run through a salt water chlorinator which produces chlorine to disinfect the pools water.

Objects float better in salt water compared to tap water because salt water is denser than freshwater. The higher density of salt water provides more buoyant force, making it easier for objects to float.

YES
Salt water pools are in fact chlorine pools part of the salt is turned into chlorine by the salt water chlorinater If it works in a normally chlorinated pool it should also work in a salt water pool. However you should check if there is any metallic ingredient like copper in it as these are not recommended in salt water pools.
== == SALT WATER POOLS ARE CHLORINATED POOLS. The difference is that the chlorine is added or manufactured automatically -- you do not have to physically add chlorine by hand daily or weekly. You also get a more even distribution of that chemical being added. However, you do have to monitor and maintain your equipment and test the chemicals periodically -- at minimum - weekly because of other chemical factors in water balance. k== == Salt water pools are also chlorinated pools. The chlorinator converts the salt into chlorine and keeps the levels at a constant. The benefit is that you don't have to keep adding chemicals like a traditional pool. We installed a salt pool four months ago and love it. Once you get the levels of salt right it is virtually maintenance free.
Salt water pools typically maintain a similar temperature to chlorine pools since the method of sanitization (salt vs. chlorine) does not significantly affect the water temperature. Other factors, such as sun exposure, time of day, and climate, have a greater impact on the water temperature of the pool.
