No you do fight him as a boss There have been rumors about a GameShark/Action Replay for the Wii, so it MAY be possible to play as him, and other SSE bosses as well. Some people have made a device similar to a Gameshark, but playing as bosses will make the game freeze theres no way that you can play him....sadly
