Yes and no, bungie bought treyarch, not infinity ward, so modern warfare series and stuff will continue normal, but not cod's made by treyarch
If you're looking for a more Sci-Fi version of Call Of Duty, keep an eye out for Black Ops II, released later this year. It's not Halo at all, but it's far more advanced and set in the future.
No Treyarch and infinity ward did.
