because the data for the game glitches up at level 256 because the level counter is held in a limited number of bytes. the counter then rolls over to 0 and glitches the level. the game tries to display 256 fruits at once and corrupts the right hand side of the screen causing it display random letters and numbers. it is impossible to collect all the pellets on this screen, so it has been reffered to as the kill screen. hacking has shown that had level 256 been passed, the game would restart at level 1 but the ghosts would keep their speed and invunrability to power pellets. the highest score possible is 3,333,360 if you collect every pellet, power pellet, eat every ghost, and get every fruit and can take 3 hours or more to acheive
The original Pac Man game had 255 levels (256 if you count the final "Kill Screen" level)
Ms. Pacman has filled-in obstacles (allowing the field to be seen better) and is harder, because the ghosts move randomly and the power pellets stop working after a certain level. Ms. Pacman also runs out of coding at Level 256(?) and causes an infinite empty field. Also, the orange ghost's name in PacMan was CLYDE but in Ms. PacMan it is named SUE.
Of course PacMan likes Ms. PacMan! After the first 2 levels, they *kiss*, and after the 9th level, they have a *baby*! Does he like her? He loves her!
255 levels in pacman, but it would take you a million years to beat it
its blak i thik
Ms. Pacman is insanely easy, so a brain-crippled toddler could beat level one, and it has somewhat of a love-storyline. Pacman is fastpaced, has a blue map(obviously) and is generally a better challenge. except for the fruits. quite more common in pacman.
255 or 256... the game was supposed to be endless but since that is impossible they made the hex in the game 255. They knew that very few people would ever get to this level, even fewer would advance. once you get to level 256 the game gets all screwed up. if you want to know what it looks like then go onto youtube or google images to look it up. i personally cant get past level 3.
you can't. But maybe if you have an action replay, you might be able to find a code for a Pokemon level 255.
by watching the walkthrough on youtube
yes, when you are playing on an iPod nano the game stops at level 256; i just finished yesterday!! Γ’ΛΒΊ
If you are talking about the original arcade version, yes, it does have an end. The game's code runs out after board 255. On board 256, half the screen is garbage and you are unable to complete it.
Pacman Jones goes by Pacman.
