Wii Sports wii dance, kinect sports, kinect dance. basically any wii or kinect game that has to deal with any kind of physical activity will help the child keep physically active. Just as the proffesionals recommend the child shoul atleast (and I can't believe I'm saying this) 60 min. Of active motion controlled gaming per day, but it is absolutely no substitute to outside activities even though it is a fairly strenous 'workout'

Young children can adapt to play many different geners. Generally you can look for games that have an ESRB rating of EC (Early Childhood) and be safe.
