Where to get old rod in Pokemon emerald?

here is how: OLD ROD: go to dewford town and talk to the fisherman right by the gym. he will give you the OLD ROD. GOOD ROD: talk to the fisherman on route 118, east of mauville city. but you need to have the HM SURF to reach him. talk to him and he will give you the GOOD ROD.

alright, the SUPER ROD is kind of hard to explain, so i will just give directions. SUPER ROD: go to mossdeep city and start out in front of the P. C. door. on the path, go RIGHT. then go DOWN a little bit, then go RIGHT again. Then go DOWN. remember: stay on the path! Then go RIGHT again. you get the idea. now i will just tell you one word.

dont go down the steps.

RIGHT.

go up the steps. you will see a girl next to a white rock.

go LEFT of her.

go UP. get on the path again!

keep going up till you reach a house. of course, go in the house.

you will see a fisherman. talk to him and he will give you the SUPER ROD.

Go to Dewford Town. If you haven't already been there, you can get there shortly after getting the first badge, by getting a ride across the ocean with Mr. Briney. In the town, find and talk to the Fisherman, who gives you the rod.
