How do you get to Gitting ham palace in dragon quest 9?

you can't get there by boat or walking, you have to return all the fygs to the old guy in observatory and then you will be captured and taken to a prison. you will come out and find yourself in a wierd place and a guy will give a tour of the place. when you go back to your cell go to sleep and at night get out of the cell go through the magic gates and through the top door you will have to fight a lethal armour to turn of the swich. he's tough. the force field should be open then go down to the lower door and defeat the boss. he's pips.you then see the starlight express and do what ever you have to do there and then take the train back to the gittish empire.you find and find a blue tree to go to the observatory if needed. to get into the palace you need to defeat hootingham gore who is standig by the gates .just egg on a realy good warrior, use oomph on him and then use gigaslashand the just attak him. he also has some gardes with him so you have to kill them as well. once you get in there are some red chests. i don't think there any blue ones though. just by the door of the throne room you have to defeat gorsby purrvis use kasap and kabuff and use egg on and gigaslash with oomph and use attack as you warrior gets egged on. one you defeat him you can proceed to the throne roomi don't know what's in there because i haven't defeated him yet but that tactic should work. there are probaly treasures beyond your imagination. (i know i'm exagerating). good luck.
