In Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, eleven year old Harry lives with his maternal aunt and uncle and believes that his parents died in a car crash. He comes to know that his parents were wizards and he himself is one. He is given admission to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He befriends Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger there. He comes to know that his parents were murdered by the most dreaded wizard of all time, Lord Voldemort. Voldemort is trying to come back through the philosopher's stone. Harry along with his friends stop Voldemort and destroy the stone.
