What is tekken?

Tekken is a fighting game where you choose the character you wish to be and you

fight. You can choose to do stories of the character, arcade where you just fight randomly and there is practice as well.

Tekken is actually another word for Iron Fist Tournment. The storyline is actually different because of the characters' but it always revolves around the same thing as the characters enter the tournament for their own reason. The tournament is actually hosted by a financial corporation called Mishima Zaibatsu. Characters are to fight each other until one last stands as victor thus getting the prize. But the tournament is not necessarily by means of arenas for people to watch but sometimes a scary ending round like True Ogre's ground in Tekken 3, Jinpachi Mishima on Tekken 5, and Azazel on Tekken 6. Storyline differs from the others endings but it usually revolves around the Mishima family. Jinpachi Mishima is the father of the Mishima Zaibatsu's owner, Heihachi Mishima, whom is grandson is Kazuya Mishima, and great grandson and well-known character Jin Kazama. Story is different per sequel so its better if you read more about it in tekken.wikia.com. I learned most of it there and I am certainly unsure of my answer.
