On the tag it says it has PVC Pellets NOT PE Pellets
Should not be a problem as the pellets should not begin to melt below about 350 degrees F. At worst, they would melt together into a blob and ruin the item.
One is selling on Ebay for $29. There are two versions. One with PE pellets and one with PVC pellets. You can buy the PE version for about $6 on eBay. The PVC version is in the $30 to $80 price range.

Crosman pellets are fine. however if you really want quality pellets I suggest H&N pellets
