i think the dx9(directX9) can render round 500 items on screen at once
To my understanding it won't work..thinking logically with features only a DX10 card can handle, how would a DX9 keep up? But keep a look out for posts, and if all else fails..do the switch! :) peace..
3D Ripper DX Intercepts all the data concerning the geometry of the world and saves it in a file that can be opened and manipulated using programs like Autodesk's 3ds Max. Works for many DX9 games and DX9-based games only (for now).

You would be able to play Team Fortress 2 on this laptop with everything set to high. This is a very high spec laptop with a DX10 9800GS 512MB GDDR3 top spec Nvidia graphics card. Team Fortress 2 is a DX9 game so high settings will be no problem at all. DX10 games like Crysis and GTA4 should run fine on medium details.
