If you want to make catz and dogz play together, you have to have both Dogz 5 and Catz 5 (or Petz 5). then you just choose a cat and a dog and bring them out. Catz and dogz cannot breed.

Dogz 5 is a game where you adopt dogs, care for them and you can breed them when they're already adults. You can play minigames get stuff for your pets/petz and if you buy Catz 5 (which is sort of the same as Dogz 5 except they're cats), your dogz and your catz can play together in playscenes. I'm afraid not. Petz can only fall in love with other Petz of the same species (Dogz and Dogz, not Catz and Dogz) and on the same hard drive, or wherever the Petz file is saved. The answer above me is wrong. Dogz can fall in love with Catz but it's extremely hard. Haven't you seen the petz5 cover? There is a cat and a dog together with mixed litterz. I've had my daschaund fall in love with the pig in the backyard but I do not think they can get pregnant and have children. You could try, but it could take a long time, or not work at all. I've tried for a few days now, only to be unsuccessful.
