Fable: The lost Chapters -> Fable II -> Fable III The Hero of Oakvale (TLC) is the ancestor of the Hero of Bowerstone (Fable II), which is the parent of the Hero of Brightwall (Fable III). There's also an online mini-game called "A Hero's Tale" with the Hero of Southcliff. This mini-game plays before Fable II and after Fable: TLC, he is also related to the Hero of Oakvale.

Nothing much. He did not bring back the gold he promised the crown and as far as they were concerned he did not meet the conditions of his contract with them, so they did not bestow honors or titles on him. After his death his son took them to court to gain the promised titles and money that the crown withheld . He was not a hero or famous in his time. It is in only in modern history that the fable of his voyage grew.
Not really no, it is set quite a while after Fable 1, with a new Hero, and only one character really returns (i won't ruin it for you) and Oakvale has fallen into disrepair. so no is the simple answer :)
He was given the title as our National Hero! :)
Possibly so. Nothing has yet been confirmed because Fable 3 just came to stores. Lionhead studio's loves making the Fable games and adores RPG games. But would like to try something a little bit different. However, this does not mean that they could yet later come back to the Fable games and create another story with yet another hero.
Its really up to you as the hero, fable is a game based on decisions of the player being good or evil kill them or just leave them its up to you
