The Explorer Ring, from lumbridge Achievement diary has effects depending on how far you got on the achievement diary, here explained:
-----------------------
Explorer Ring (1): You can restore your run energy up to 3 times per day.
Explorer Ring (2): 30 Free Low level alchemy castings per day + 10% chance of crafting an extra air, water, earth or fire Rune per essence.
Explorer Ring (3): Cabbage Port: Free teleport to Falador's Cabbage Patch, Handy lol.
Yes you need to finish all the easy, medium, and hard tasks in order to get each of the corresponding rings.
no, have to wait til midnight gmt
They use an Explorer's Ring(3) that allows them to teleport to Draynor cabbage patch. You can get the Explorer Ring by completing the Lumbridge/Draynor achievement diary. ((R.s. = britmac2005))
If you lose your ring (most likely because you died), you have to go back to the NPC that gave it to you. For instance, for the level 3 explorer ring, that would be Ned in Draynor.
Teleport to the cabbage patch and all the things the first 2 could do, with an additional energy recharge.
Go talk to Explorer Jack in lumbridge. You will then be able to start the medium achivement diary. Complete all the tasks. Then go back and speak to Jack and he will award you with a Level 2 explorer ring.
Probably because you have an Explorer's Ring. When you runecraft with an Explorer's Ring on, it "sparkles to life" and makes a few more runes for you. If you don't have one of these, I don't know why your number varies, but I do recommend that you get one. They come in handy a LOT. :D
As you said, south of Falador, north of Port Sarim, you can get there by using cabbage patch teleport on an Explorer's Ring ( 3 )
