Everything effects aggro in groups.
#1 Threat
(Which is why tanks always complain about people causing threat)
#2 Damage per second
(Which is why DPS players can pull off tanks, and should attack the mob the tank is focused on - hint: target the tank and use the 'F' key to assist)
#3 Heals Per Second
(Although unlikely, the healer also can pull aggro off a tank. Unless the tank has forgotten his/her buffs, this is completely nonfeasible, but I've seen it happen.)
Tell the blizzard ppl to stop being mob
As any spec priest, fade makes you "fadeaway" from the aggro of the mob you are attacking by dropping your aggro. It is used in groups when the priest heals or does too much damage, so that the tank can get aggro again.
The act of walking into a mobs aggression area or doing something to make a mob/npc to attack you(sometimes in lieu of attacking others) is called Pulling Aggro You pulled Aggro - or Pulling Aggro - Sometimes this is shortened up even further by just using the term Pulled or Pulling although it's a toss up which you should use. If I were in an MMoRPG and trying to give a tank instructions I would just say Pull the two by the door. But if they started attacking me in lieu of him I would Say Pull Aggro Back@@#@*#@! or Keep Aggro!!! or I'm Pulling Aggro!!*@#(&U@*# Comes from the term Aggression. Common MMoRPG uses are "only let the tank pull aggro", "Tank can't keep aggro" "I pulled too much aggro"
you click on a mob witch is a Creator and you click the red sword type button on your action bar
Right click or shift click on the monster (also called a mob.)
Creatures of the Murloc mob are bipedal. They are also humanoid creatures. They live in areas close to water, such as lakes and coastlines. They are also amphibious.
It is impossible to get behind an NPC, unless you do one of two things. 1. Have someone tank the mob, which means getting the mobs attention away from you, so you can run around behind the mob. 2. Be a rogue. If a rogue is good, then they can stealth behind the mob and attack it.
The term is supposed to mean monsters as opposed to meaning mobsters in a gang. The MMORPG genre is related to the gaming in "World of Warcraft". MOB stands for "Monster or Beast".
you can download profitui which provides useful changes and addons to the user interface one displays you experience in a percentage. so you could see what percentage your on and then kill a mob and see your new percentage then you can compare. for example you could be on 56.7% kill a mob and go to 58.4% which means you would of gained 1.7%.
Quest grinding is just doing all the quests that you come across. This is different that mob grinding in that you get more XP (experience) from doing quests because you get the added XP from the quest AND the xp from killing the mobs.
By far blood, it's very fun to tank, and doesn't require much skill. Tanks also get good dps, so you'll be up on the charts. Just remember if you're using the blood spec, that you need to do moves that cause aggro, or threat. Which would be: Death and Decay Runestrike Deathstrike When you're about to run up to a mob, lay down Death and Decay. If your aggro isn't good enough, and mobs start to flee and attack other players, pull them back with the aggro moves.
