With the recent updates on Runescape (as of April of 2012), runecrafting, believe it or not, is the new fastest skill to level up. The new runecrafting mini-game Runespan has allowed players as high as lvl 50 in runecrafting to level up 15 times in a matter of hours. To play Runespan, you must first reach lvl 22 runecrafting, which will start you off on the lowest floor of Runespan. To enter Runspan, speak to any wizard in any rune altar to be teleported to the wizards tower, or simply walk their from lumbridge or draynor village. on the second floor there is a portal to the runecrafting guild. this portal is also used to enter Runespan. The wizard standing next to this portal will explain Runespan to you and run you through a tutorial after entering the portal.
