you know how u had to download mod loader and all those other required mods for aether mod 1.02 to work? (among previous versions of aether mod). we are currently waiting for all of those same mods to become compatible with minecraft 1.0.0, then the guys who made aether mod will launch the new version that works with the full version of minecraft. its E.T.A. however, i do not know. just kinda depends on when those other mods finish If you want to know the release date for the aether: Round Christmas eve.

It appears the answer is no. In the original release version of the Aether and the V 1.01, the planes mod was compatible. However, after updating to V 1.02 my game crashed upon start. I tested if it was any of Risugami's mods, but they were fine. SPC was patched, and I even got Flan's WW2 Guns mod to work. However, when I installed the planes mod, minecraft crashed. Hopefully Flan will update his mod to be compatible or maybe even someone else will create a patch.
