Is mecca a good laptop brand for sims 3?

Well its not really about what Make or model of laptop you are using, you could just as well use some Chinese No-Name make an still play Sims 3 But rather is it about the hardware requirements and whether or not the laptop meets those requirements or not (which u will find below). I mean sure you can go into the whole bottomless hole of the more unknown make of laptop you are using and discuss its reliability and so on, but that's besides the point.

You will notice below that Windows 7 is not shown however you can look at Vista as they will most likely be about the same since 7 is a update of vista

FOR WINDOWS XP

• 2.0 GHz P4 processor or equivalent
• 1 GB RAM
• 128 MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0
• The latest version of DirectX 9.0c
• Windows XP Service Pack 2
• At least 6.1 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB of additional space for custom content and saved games

FOR WINDOWS VISTA
