The only way the PS2 is better is that it is cheaper and maybe has more game titles, but the games titles is a non issue because the PS3 has better games and more than enough so that they do not need PS2 old games. The PS3 is worth the extra money it costs because it is over three times better, maybe even 10 times better
Xbox was released a year after the PS2 and was said to have more power than the PS2. The PS2 already had a giant fan following and many games when the xbox was released. Today you can find a PS2 game in every store but an Xbox game is much more rare. One thing that is certain is that the PS2 has outlived Xbox and its my choice for the better console.
Ps2 was better than the first xbox, if its xbox 360 your talking about thats better than it
playstation 2 is better
xbox is good but the playstation is better in ways to me 1.playstation network is free and xbox live is $50 dollars a year 2.xbox has rrod and playstation doesn't 3.xbox copied playstation with the slim 4.playstation has 4 gens and xbox only has 2 gens 5.and finally playstation has blu ray and DVD p.s xbox halo rocks!
from my experiences playing nba on both xbox and PlayStation nba 11 is much better on PlayStation 2. the quality is much better also faster. on xbox it freezes a lot and sometimes says the disk can not be read. on xbox you also have to download an up date that takes about 20 to 30 minutes. i would very prefer to get nba 11 on PlayStation 2 then on xbox. on PlayStation nba costs $14 on xbox it costs about $48. again I WOULD GET IT ON PLAYSTATION 2 ONLY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD. IN OTHER WORDS IT IS TERRIBLE ON XBOX 360 i love it on PlayStation
The games are exclusive to Playstation Products
The graphics on the PlayStation 2 version are little better than Nightfire. The Wii's looks a little better. The Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions are nearly identical.
