When Aqua and Terra were inspected if they're worthy to be Keyblade Masters, Terra's darkness slipped because he feared of losing. Therefore, Terra failed the test, while Aqua successfully became a Keyblade Master.
The Keyblade Wielders are Sora/Roxas/Xion,Kairi,Riku, ,Ventus/Vantais,Terra,Aqua,and Master Equas
Yes, Sora is a chosen keyblade master. He is the main Keyblade wielder, the second being King Mickey. Sora was chosen to be the keyblade master because of his powerful heart and strength. SPOILER****************** Terra wanted Riku to be the keyblade master, but Sora's heart was more powerful, thus Sora was able to combine his heart with Ven, allowing him to wield any keyblade.
Terra might've given it to Ven because Ven didn't have a Keyblade at the time, and Terra didn't need it anymore.
It depends on if you're asking in the game or real life :D. In the game, according to birth by sleep, the keyblade wielder is chosen by a master of the keyblade (terra). This is interesting because, contrary to what the first and second games say, the keyblade did not choose sora. Terra "knighted" sora to be a key blade wielder. In real life it's impossible, I'm sorry...
aqua is a character from the PSP game Kingdom Hearts:Birth By sleep where she takes the Master Qualification Exam along with Terra and becomes a Keyblade Master.
Yes, Terra choose Riku as his successor.
there are technally 5... sora, riku, roxas, mickey, and terra. But roxas is apart of sora so kinda 4... so yah wrong, i can count :Pven, terra, aqua, mickey, sora, riku, kairi, xeon, xehanortthe keyblades not so special xD also, remember, genie made a keyblade when u summoned him :PQuestion ImprovedThere's Ven, Terra, Aqua, Mickey, Sora, Roxas, Xion, Kairi (Apprentice ( I Think)), Riku NOT XehanortImproved:Although many think Sora is, he really isn't. He is chosen by the Realm of Light's keyblade and can connect his heart with all others, but he isn't a Keyblade master, yet. There are 4 actually: Master Eraqus (The guy who teaches Aqua, Ven and Terra), Master Xehanort (The main antagonist of the KH series and the guy who teaches Vanitas), Master Yen Sid (The guy in the tower in Traverse Town who teaches Mickey), and soon-to-be Master Aqua.Aqua becomes a keyblade master when she is the only one of Master Eraqus's apprentices to pass the Master Qualification Exam in Birth By Sleep. Ven is too weak, and Terra loses to Aqua and is proclaimed to have to dark a heart to be a master. As that may be if you look very closely at some of the keyblades that sora doesnt obtain u can clearly see that kairi's keyblade therefore making kairi an APPRENTICE! yet both sora having been in every KH game and quote from Donald in COM "cheer up sora, you are the keyblade master after all" making SORA a keyblade master and how does KING MIKEY not get to be a masterThe Truth and Extra InformationThe three masters to be announced as the first keyblade masters were Eraqus, Xehanort, and Yen Sid. Later Aqua was annouced as a master but not Terra due to his darkness in his heart. Xehanort trying to get on his good side, gave the title of master to Terra near the end of his story arc. Mickey is not a "master" of the key, but I am sure he has the material to do it. In the near future, Sora becomes a master in KH2 FM+ when you beat Terra's Remnant who says he recognizes you as a keyblade master. Roxas is a direct nobody of Sora which makes him in a sense a Master as well, but Riku is not a master for no one has recognized him to be yet. Kiari is just a new apprentice to the keyblade, since the second game. Hope my information was able to help you.-Kidoshiimproved again: currently master yen Sid, aqua, master xenhort, master eraquas, and more to come in kh3 he mark of mastery is held again by master yen Sid
The keyblade chooses the keyblade master, the Kingdom Key chose Sora, Way to the Dawn chose Riku, but only Kairi's keyblade didn't, Riku gave her the keyblade
Riku can use a Keyblade as he is Terra's chosen processor Kairi can as she is a Princess of Light.
You get a keyblade and a crown and depending on if you helped all 13 black mushrooms or beat all data battles your crown will be silver or gold if you did all that stuff.
**SPOILER WARNING** Terra is sent out to find Master Xehanort and the source of the Unverse under orders from Master Eraqus. In the process, he is manipulated into doing terrible things by many people. This manipulated into killing Master Eraqus, and he leaves the Land of Departure unprotected for Master Xehanort to destroy. He then confronts Master Xehanort and fights him in The Keyblade Graveyard. After Vanitas creates the x-blade, Master Xehanort stabs himself with the keyblade and forces his heart into Terra's body. Master Xehanort manages to take over Terra's body, but Terra wont accept it. His armor rises from his will and soul, and attempts to reclaim his body. He manages to defeat Master Xehanort, but after the x-blade shattered, the body was lost in the confusion, and the armor-known as Lingering Sentiment- remained in the Keyblade Graveyard. Afterwords, Aqua confronts 'Terranort' (Master Xehanort possessing Terra's body) in Radiant Garden, and she tries to reclaim his body. In the end of the fight, Terra tries to eject Master Xehanort from his body by stabbing himself with the keyblade. This opens a dark portal which Terranort begins to fall into. Aqua rescues him, but is lost in the darkness, and Terranort is left knocked out in Radiant Garden. Braig then brings Ansem the Wise to see the knocked out man, and Ansem the Wise adopts the man as an apprentice. Ever since then, he's been called Xehanort, and has been the main villain of the series up until now. (Mind blowing, right?)
