To get free credits on poptropica you must beat an island and you will be awarded with 100 free credits and get an island mediation unless you beat a mini island then you will receive 50 credits.
You get 50 credits (once) for defeating each island, 50 for Haunted House. You get 25 when you begin your user activity. Other than those, you can also purchase credits for use in the Store.
(Originally it was 100 credits per island, and Dr. Hare's Secret Lab, after being purchased, awarded 25. Earth Day also awarded 50 credits, but not now.)

Monthly Poptropica membership as well as credits may be purchased, but may only be done by the adult holder of a credit card. Minors may not use credit cards for purchases.
Note: Haunted House and Dr. Hare were primarily costume quests: the Pink Rabbot suit for Dr. Hare and various Halloween costumes in the Haunted House, which has since become a pay feature. The scary costumes include witches, vampires, mummies, and the Grim Reaper.
You earn free credits by completing the islands and quests on Poptropica. There is no way to cheat or otherwise obtain credits. Each island completed earns 50 credits, and 50 credits for the Haunted House. There are no credits for Earth Day or Dr. Hare's Secret Lab.
You also get 25 credits for saving your first game on a username. You can buy credits, or pay the monthly membership fee that lets you use all of the items in the Store.
Just try defeating islands and if your having trouble, Google how to defeat whatever you are trying to defeat. You get 100 credits after you solve each island and get 50 credits doing mini games like the Haunted house! And if you get 500 credits you get to buy an early acess to Counterfiet!
