the sims 3 is different from the sims 2, so you can't just have them "woohoo" randomly. you have to build up the mood. have your sims do different romantic interactions and eventually a "woohoo" and "try for baby" option will be available to you.

It's not my knowledge that you can see sims woo-hoo, so if you're trying to, I guess you could try to activate 'moveobjects on' cheat, which allows you to move anything, even sims, and when they're woo hoo-ing, move them out of the bed/tub/booth and somewhere completely visible. I warn you that when I tried to do this, both sims disappeared, but then using 'boolprop testingcheatsenabled true' and shift-clicking the sim I was now playing and spawning 'tombstone of L & D' and then 'get family member' I got them back. Now, in woo-hoo, they don't actually do anything, other than look like they're having an epileptic fit, and even if they did 'something' it would be blocked by censor-blur thingies. The reason why I've said get married is because your sims will not sleep together unless you are married, and make sure you have a double bed. To have sex just make sure your your sims well love each other, have a good mood and then do this with the the sim you are playing as highlight the bed and press relax but don,t press read then select the other sim by pressing circle then get that sim in the bed there will then be an icon saying WOO HOO and TRY FOR A BABY if you want to get the female sim PREGNANT press try for a baby or if you just want to woo hoo press woo hoo if you clicked on try for a baby you will hear a lullaby sound which means your female sim is pregnant! There should also be a "kiss", and "make out" option. make them make out a few times and there should be a "woo hoo" option. Don't press it unless you don't want them to have a baby. Next to the "woo hoo" option, there should be a " try for a baby" option unless the girl is a senior (a female adult sim can woo hoo a male senior sim, but not the other way around). Then you should have a baby. But, it doesn't always work, just like real life and so try it again to be precise ( sometimes you cannot try again on the same night and if not try the next night).
