yes halo reach will have custom games. it will also have an amazing campaign, all kinds of game modes for matchmaking and custom games, and the thing i am most excited about it will have firefight with matchmaking!

Yes, you can, but not in the campaign. Only in custom games, matchmaking, ect.

There are 2 disks that come with the game: The 1st has Campaign and Firefight, which is new. The 2nd has the Custom games, with 3 new maps, and a bunch of others that you had to buy off live for Halo 3.

Make firefight your own,being a helljumper in campaign,and jumping to your death in forge. Just put the disc in and start the game, you can play campaign, firefight, forge and custom games. You can not play matchmaking offline as that is multi-player only.

with the odst campaign and firefight disk you get another disk labelled: Multiplayer or something.... go on that and click custom games and then options then infection... voila you have infection
Why when you play custom games in halo reach it sais user contet is not permited?
It could be one of few reasons 1. You dont have the download content 2. Your friends dont 3. You dont have a hard drive (for firefight, and campaign) 4. Your friends dont 5. Something is wrong with the gametype + match setup. For example, if you try to play invasion on an infenction map, even custom maps have requirements. Hope this helped -P
