look closely, there should be a sell tab when you talk to him, make sure you are visiting him at the correct time, sometimes you can visit him when he is setting up shop (you wont be able to buy anything from him or sell when he sets up shop) also you have to use your touchscreen if i remember correctly to select items to sell to him
It is very simple. Simply just go to Mirabelle's store (but not on Saturday's because it is closed) and talk to her by the counter and go to the very bottom where there are all the animal selections and tap sella a chicken. Then she will tell you the price that she will give you if you sell it to her. Hope i helped!
There are two ways to sell items in Harvest Moon DS Cute.
The first way is to toss items into the Shipping Bin. At 5:00pm Thomas will pick up the items you sold and you will automatically get paid. He does not come on festival days. Everything you ship on festival days will sold the next time Thomas comes. If you get a Horse it's Saddle Bags work as a Shipping Bin.
The second way is to sell items to Van. He sets up shop on the second floor of the Inn. He only comes on days ending in 3 or 8. He also does not come on festival days.
