No, she dies in the original game, Final Fantasy VII for the PS.
There are two. One is for Leon's story, and the other is for Claire's.
You don't. The whole resurrecting Aeris thing is false (at least it is for the PS version). As for the other versions of FF7, you'll have to test that out yourself.
The closest thing FFVIII fans will get to a remake is if/when Square-Enix remasters the older PS FF's and releases them on the PSN. There has been some talk of an FF HD collection similar to the God of War Collection that was released that features updated graphics of the previous God of War games.

Since Square Enix has just released Final Fantasy XIII for the X box 360 and the PS 3, they will probably continue to release the new Final Fantasy games for only those game systems. I wish they could make them for PS 2 as well, but seeing as they can do a lot more with the game using X box and PS 3 over ps2 including, better graphics, and the ability to play discs at higher speeds. They will probably discontinue the distribution of future Final Fantasy games for the PS 2.
No it isnt.
No, unless if there's a Final Fantasy spin-off or specifically VII. Wrong...They do-At the end of Crissis Core you see Arith in an ally using the Life Stream...She was placing Zacks soul into a Materia and the materia she was using somewhere I forget where was being placed into zack's cloned body- anyway he come back with Mable wings with black and white....and he gets Gennissis or whatever to join the new soldier....PS its not FF 14
Yes. He is the main character.. ps. you can also play as aerith for a short while..
The ones that I started with, and the best ones to me so far, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, and Final Fantasy XII. But the thing about the games is that the battle style is different. FF VII has a team vs. team time based battle system. FF X has a team vs. team turn based battle system. FF XII has a free roaming battle system that is also time based. They all have amazing stories, though. (from Your_Darkest_angel) Final Fantasy IX is the most simple game. FFX would also be a good starter game. they are more straight foward. FFIX
