No, but if you choose not to install them; it will not let you play xbox live.
You don't actually get Xbox Live on a PS3, the network for the PS3 is called the PlayStation network (creative). To connect you need an internet connection and a membership. I am currently on the XBox 360, so the details of how to connect aren't my area of expertise...
At the dashboard, while connected to xbox live, go to the marketplace and select games, there you can choose from arcade games, xbox original games, and game add ons. now with the ability to buy full xbox 360 games its much easier although a hdd upgrade may be in order
So they can data mine all your personal information and to have access to your bank details in case they feel the need to rise you.
If you are paying Xbox membership gold on the Xbox, you might need to check if all details are correct. Or just buy one from a game store.
Go to your system settings. I don't recommend doing this though because you won't be able to sign into XBOX LIVE.
It is still Xbox Live.
Xbox live Silver is for XBOX Live MarketPlace not for playing LIVE with you're friends that's what is the XBOX LIVE GOLD is.
Report it to Microsoft, they will sort it out. There is no point in contacting them if you have sent your details to someone or signed up a spam xbox site, this will be your fault and Microsoft wont do anything.
the only way is to call Xbox's help line. Just as a warning though, Cancel your account means delete it, just tell them that you want to downgrade to a silver account at the time of the next payment instead of recurring payment. they will try almost ANYTHING to keep you on though, so be ready. Google it first please :D IMPROVEMENT: If you have a PC, you can remove your credit card information yourself. First, get Microsoft Live Games for PC. Then, download Tinker (a Free for PC game for the Live network). When installing the game, make sure you use the same account you used for your XBox 360 to activate Tinker. Now, go to your account settings. You can change or even delete your credit card information there. It will not affect any of you XBox Live settings, or XBox 360 Gold subscription, it only removes you credit card information.
Sign in to Xbox LIVE by using the profile for which you want to remove a pass code.In the My Xbox area of the Dashboard, select your profile.Select Manage Account, and then press the Abutton to select Xbox LIVE Pass Code.Enter your existing Xbox LIVE pass code. When you are prompted to make a change, press the Abutton to clear the pass code.Confirm that you want to remove the pass code.
I asked this question and if you want to swap your Ps3 for my Xbox 360 please call me on 07561819360, Call for details and further info !
