Just click on the winch and then the meteor, and the cable will hook it and pull it out of the way.
it is absolutely not a meteor
It is part of the Research Lab, just north (above) the main lunar base. You will find the Locator Device there. Drive there in the rover, pull away the meteor with the winch, and use the pressure chamber to squash you so you can slip past the boxes to the Infirmary door. Inside, grab the medi-hose and go straight up and left to the center hub, then back down and right to the maintenance area.
well the meteor would be sucked in by the earths gravitational pull
You don't use one on the Purple Monolith. Use the rover's winch as you did with the meteorite, to pull the surface rocks away.
When you reach the purple crystal, use the winch to pull it out of the ground. Follow the light beam it projects to where it crosses the other beam, and dig there.
pull it out
It is in a waste vent in the Infirmary, part of the Research Lab north of the main base. Drive there and pull away the meteor with the rover. Use the pressure chamber to squash you so you can squeeze through to reach the Infirmary door. Inside, grab the medi-hose and take it to the center hub of the rooms, then back down to the right to reach the Maintenance Area. Use the hose to wash the locator out, then exit through the BioWaste chute at the left side.
There's no exact date. They just come loose and you pull them out.
loose when its around your finger but tight when you pull it :)
The Purple Artifact is just south of the Rock Lab, but you can only find it when you are using the Geiger Counter. You will see a purple light and a crack in the ground. Use the rover hook to pull away the rocks on top.
