Put RED furniture to the EAST of your room. Put Green furniture to the SOUTH of your room. Put YELLOW furniture to the WEST of your room. If you don't know what furniture is red, yellow or green go to www.animalcrossingcommunity.com and go on the ACWW: items and search red yellow or green. In the TWO spaces down the bottom of your room put a green/yellow piece of furniture on the left and a red/green furniture on the bottom right. here is a picture: another REALLY good sight to go to is animalcrossing.wikia.com/wikia/feng_shui_guide_(ACWW)
In Animal Crossing for he Game Cube, a lot of items have a special color associated with them that determines their feng shui. The colors are: red, green, yellow, orange. Some items are the same color as their feng shui color, but not all of them. You can look up an item's feng shui color in the related link.
Placing these items in certain spots in your house will increase your luck and help you find better items and more money in the game. Orange goes along the North wall (the wall you face when entering your house) for money and items. Yellow goes along the west wall (the left wall) for money and items. Red goes against the east wall (the right wall) for money. Green goes against the south wall (the bottom wall) for money and items.
As your house expands, keep in mind that the center floor space/tiles don't count for feng shui. To count for feng shui, the item needs to be one or two "paces" or "tiles" from the appropriate wall.
There are also special feng shui items that will increase your luck no matter where you have them, but if you place them in the right spot, you'll receive double luck! These items include:

I would research the type of feng shui that suites you. Feng shui is all about what makes you at peace in your world. If it relaxes you then you will know where you would like it and what you would like.
It just makes you a little luckier, like getting rare furniture or more money. You will also boost your HRA points by putting it in your house. Should you place it according to Feng Shui, then the HRA points will boost even more. You will also be luckier if you place it according to Feng Shui.
