How do you make a wooden stick on minecraft?

Put one wooden plank above another one in the crafting section in your inventory. Or make a crafting bench by putting a wooden plank in each section in your inventory and putting one wooden plank above another.

-- hit "i" for inventory

-- put wood in one of the four squares

-- take the wood planks and put them in two of the four squares, one above the other
