You should begin with a default Star Craft folder named "maps". the simplest way to create a new folder is to open StarEdit, click open, then right click anywhere on blank space, select "New Folder", then name it, and your done. now drag, cut and paste the folder where you want to put it.
The other way to do it is to go to "My Computer" or "Desktop" or etc. if it is in the default location, then go to drive C in My Computer. Then open "Program Files" and look for the folder named "Starcraft". Then go into "maps" and right click, and name and etc.
You have to put the maps in the correct folder which should be starcraft/maps/download well anywhere in the maps file will work
1.go back to your map. 2.go to file at top left of screen 3.click save as. 3.Save it under maps for starcraft. 4. you will have to look for it 5.once you find it double click it and go to top of box and select new folder 6. name folder 7. double click folder and save.
I'm assuming you mean the GRACK folder. This can be found next to the "games" folder
Ok, so to access the map editor, go to where Starcraft II is installed (e.g. c:\Program Files\Starcraft II) and in that folder is an application entitled Starcraft II Editor.exe. At least that is where it is on mine.
After saving the map, run starcraft. If you wish to play on multiplayer, click create, and then beside the map selection, there will be a button called "Browse". Click that, and find your map from there. If you play signleplayer, you double click on "up one level", and then the map should be in the downloads file. (Note - this is for Starcraft 1.16.1 Brood War. Other versions may have different ways of finding the map)
just search at google "free starcraft maps download" but there are other maps not search by this phrase like aeon of strife, fastest map ever(maybe?)
No problemo. Depending on where you saved it, it will be in a different place in the ladder. I like to save it to Starcraft Origional's first map menu. (When you hit the 'save map' button, a window will pop up where you choose where to save it). It will go to Starcraft Origional's first map menu as a default. Save it to wherever in Starcraft, then exit out of everything and start up Starcraft. REMEMBER: You must not have Starcraft running or it will not save. Go to 'Single Player', then log in, then click 'Custom Maps'. Then find the folder you remember it was saved in and scroll all the way down and you will find it at the very bottom.
starcraft 2 map creator, it should comw with starcraft 2
Put it into your maps folder
