I suggest that you train all of your stats (attack, strength, defence) and magic and ranged if you want instead of concentrating on only 1 stat, e.g. strength (most common). Also if you want a good place to train strength, attack and defence with good drops, the 2nd floor of stronghold is very useful if you go through to the big flesh crawler part. They drop some quite good stuff, quite a lot of coins drop. If your member they drop rannar's and other herbs.
Your combat level is effected by your attack, strength, defense, magic, ranged, prayer, and Constitution levels. To get your combat level up on Runescape simply attack any enemy (For combat/heath XP), or bury bones (Prayer). As you deal damage (Or bury bones) you will gain experience towards your individual skill you are leveling, as well as get closer to leveling up your combat level. A good tip if you are going for combat Xp is to make sure that you are not a significantly lower level than the enemy you are leveling on, otherwise you might die.

Basics.
The best thing to do is, when you first start out, pick one basic combat skill to level up. For example, when I did this, I picked strength. Train on cows. after this skill gets to level 40, change skills. Once all the skills are level 40, switch to attacking Dwarfs until all stats until they're all level 60-65. After this, just train on Ogres, Zogres, Dragons, whatever you can get your hands on.
Mage and Range.
Just use the Fist of Guthix mini-game. It works Really well!

Use the cow thing from the Non-Members thingy on the cows until all skills are level 40, then travel out to The Fremminik Isles to train on the rock crabs. Do this until level 75. Then just do basically whatever you want with them!
Mage, Range, and Summoning.
Fist of Guthix. Works every time... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WELL. Pick the most efficient combat skill that you like. there's Attack, where you can have a chance of hitting more. There's strength, where you can hit harder and higher. There's defence to protect yourself from other monsters or players. there's range where it doesn't cost a lot (except the arrows) compared to magic, where you have to buy these runes, blood/death/chaos/other.
LEVELS 3-20
When you first start out, kill chickens. Only keep the feathers. If you tend to DIE, pick up the raw chicken and cook it inside the house next to the chickens. Keep doing this until you have enough feathers or until your level is 10.
Stats needed for killing chickens to level 20 (combat level):
DEFENCE: 5
STRENGTH: 10
ATTACK: 5
RANGE: n/a (depending on if you're training range)
MAGIC: n/a (depending on if you're training magic)
LEVELS 20-30
At level 20 combat level OR 20 at the skill you're training, switch to goblins. Pick up the coins they give you and any other drop that's interesting.
Stats needed for killing goblins to level 30:
DEFENCE: 10
STRENGTH: 15+
ATTACK: 10
RANGE: n/a
MAGIC: n/a
LEVELS 30-99 (combat levels)
At level 30 onward, here are some tips:
30-40= kill minotaurs in the stronghold of security
40-50= kill guards in varrock or falador
50-70= toughest stretch so kill Zombies for fast xp (rock crabs in members)(pestcontrol members)
70-80= kill zombies or pvp/duel and kill ankou (for members) in the stronghold of security. You need really good armour and weaps and food (10 pieces of food if ranging or maging. (pest control members)
80-90= Kill zombies west of Clan wars or hillgiants, moss giants. Kill red Spiders (can afk, away from keyboard fighting) with good armour and protection (potions) with good weapons, spells, arrows and bows. (pest control 70+ ship)
90-99= Spiders, Pest control (members) / Soul wars (members) / Monkey guards (need sharks, potions (attack, str, prayer pots), good armour, good weapon.
100+= Pest control is still good, soul wars is decent, monkey guards are good but you need high stats, zombies, clan wars and so on.
WELL DONE YOU HAVE MASTERED RUNESCAPE. YOU HAVE ACHIEVED A VERY HIGH GOAL.
Cooking is a minor skill which does not increase combat level; only Attack, Strength, Defence, Magic, and Range will increase your combat level. As a result of the Evolution of Combat update, Summoning, Prayer and Constitution no longer affect combat level.
If you bury bones, you will level up prayer. Increasing your prayer skill will also increase your combat level.
no
They are level 124.
Level 126 combat in free to play and level 138 combat for members.
By fighting. That will increase your levels in different skills, which will in turn affect your combat level. Note that the higher you are, the slower it will be to advance.
88 and 93.
Depends on your combat level
For free to play the highest combat level is 126. All skills available on free to play have a maximum level of 99. The skills you unlock as a member have a cap of level 99 as well, but you can increase your combat level to 138.
I would have to say combat level 89 or 77
A bronze dragon's combat level is 124.
yes
