Go to Zipangu (Japan) and go all the way right in the town, to the portal that's around a large tree. Take that and follow it right until you reach 'The Forest of Animals', and there should be a portal at the top right of the map. Take it, and you're basically there!

In showa town, there is an NPC which will transport you to a spa. In there, there is yet another NPC selling potions which will return you to the Mushroom Shrine.
