You can play Halo 4 multiplayer offline in split-screen with up to four people on one Xbox.
You need will need four controllers, and to do it, you need to go to "Infinity" from the main menu, then choose "War Games," then choose "Custom Game."
To do this, all players will need to sign in to a profile or use a temporary profile (an actual profile is recommended, as your progress isn't saved with a temporary profile)

im not sure but i wouldnt think so well not in the campaign because its part of halo combat evolved but the multiplayer will have the halo reach engine and reach had the recon armor in it so anniversary might have but only in multiplayer

At this precise moment, it is currently unknown. Halo CE Anniversary will, however, use the original halo's campaign levels, but will use the multiplayer system and indeed servers from Halo: Reach.
You could not pick up Energy Swords in Halo: CE, so you can't in Anniversary's Campaign. In Anniversary Multiplayer, however, you can pick up the Energy Sword on maps that have it.
Yes if you have a friend or family member willing to play with you yes but it has to be on the 360 itself you can't connect to your friends xbox offline
I'm guessing you mean Anniversary. No. Its going to come with Halo CE and a card for Reach multiplayer.
Halo anniversary has better graphics, halo reach multiplayer, new maps, and different music. However, there is a way to turn the old graphics back on if you want
There is multiplayer in halo 4
Yes. The box says that it features offline multiplayer.

You can download Anniversary Maps to Halo: Reach but not to Anniversary.
